Notre Dame of Maryland University Gators athletics will feature seven home events from Sept. 14-20, 2026, while the men’s and women’s cross country teams begin their seasons at the Abington Invitational. The home schedule includes women’s soccer, men’s soccer and women’s volleyball at venues on the Notre Dame of Maryland University campus.
Nick Rackley, Notre Dame of Maryland University’s Director of Athletic Communications, announced the schedule Sept. 14. The Gators will host events at the Turf Field Sponsored by the SSNDs and the MBK Sports Complex, while the cross country teams will compete at the Abington Invitational Saturday, Sept. 19.
Notre Dame of Maryland University Gators Women’s Soccer
Notre Dame of Maryland University women’s soccer will host Penn State Schuylkill at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, at the Turf Field Sponsored by the SSNDs. The Gators will return to the same venue at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, to face Susquehanna.
The Gators enter the week after losses to Marymount and Immaculata. Alex Busick scored Notre Dame of Maryland University’s lone goal during the previous week and leads the team with two goals this season.
Notre Dame of Maryland University Gators Men’s Soccer
Notre Dame of Maryland University men’s soccer will host Stockton at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, before welcoming Stevenson at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19. Both matches are scheduled for the Turf Field Sponsored by the SSNDs.
The Gators are 1-1-1 after defeating Carlow 2-1 and losing to Methodist 3-2 during the previous week. Arnaud Gerin scored against Carlow, while Maxime Baux assisted Athanasios Ziliaskopolous on the second goal. Kim O’Sullivan and Leon Awesso scored in the loss to Methodist.
Notre Dame of Maryland University Gators Women’s Volleyball
Notre Dame of Maryland University women’s volleyball will host Penn State York at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, at the MBK Sports Complex. The Gators will then face Saint Francis at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at the same venue in a match listed as part of a doubleheader.
The Gators are 2-4 after going 1-2 during the previous week. Notre Dame of Maryland University defeated Lackawanna at the Messiah Tri-Match but lost to McDaniel and Messiah.
Bryanna Carter recorded 39 kills on a .224 attack percentage during the previous week, while libero Izzy Stewart averaged four digs per set. Cross Country Starts the 2026 Season
The Notre Dame of Maryland University men’s and women’s cross country teams will compete at the Abington Invitational at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19. Both teams were picked to finish ninth in the United East Cross Country Preseason Poll.
Sanai Helms led the Gators at the Abington Invitational the previous season, finishing 32nd in 34:30. The meet will be the first competition of the 2026 season for Notre Dame of Maryland University cross country.
