The Senators have hit 145 home runs this season, tying the 1997 team for the second-most in modern franchise history. Swan worked around a leadoff double in the seventh, Virguez pitched a scoreless eighth, and Brown closed the shutout by stranding runners on first and third.
Game three of the series is scheduled for Friday night at 6:03 p.m. Right-hander Yoel Tejeda, listed with a 0-5 record, is scheduled to start for Harrisburg.
