University of Maryland Eastern Shore womens volleyball fell to host Old Dominion, 3-1, on Sept. 13 at the ODU Volleyball Center in Norfolk, Virginia, to close the Old Dominion Tournament. Old Dominion won the match by set scores of 25-18, 25-18, 18-25 and 25-23.
After dropping the first two sets, University of Maryland Eastern Shore produced its strongest offensive set of the match in the third. The team hit .435 in the set and earned a 25-18 victory before Old Dominion held on in the fourth set.

Rayah Howell led University of Maryland Eastern Shore with 10 kills while hitting .412. Karielys Melendez added nine kills and two service aces, while Malaysia Shaw recorded eight kills and five block assists.
Kate-Linh Eden finished with a team-high 19 assists, and Jocelyn Torres contributed 12 assists and one service ace. Arianna Warner-Torres led the team with eight digs and three service aces.
Dynasty Andrews and Malaysia Shaw each finished with five total blocks, while Gabrielle McCoy added three block assists. University of Maryland Eastern Shore totaled 10 blocks and eight service aces as a team.
