Rain washed out Saturday night’s scheduled game in Richmond, Virginia, between the Chesapeake Baysox and the Richmond Flying Squirrels, resulting in the cancellation of the contest. This cancellation secured the Baysox a series win in the final series of their 2026 campaign, as they had already won three of the five scheduled games.
The Baysox are the Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, while the Flying Squirrels are affiliated with the San Francisco Giants.

Since June 23, when Double-A records reset, the Chesapeake Baysox have won four road series in the second half of the season and are tied for the second-most road wins in Minor League Baseball with 21 victories.
