Salisbury University women’s golf returns six golfers for the 2026-27 season after finishing third at the inaugural Colonial Women’s Golf Conference (CWGC) Tournament and ranking No. 18 in the Division III East Region at the end of the spring during the 2025-26 campaign. The Sea Gulls also won the Elizabethtown Spring Invitational on April 2 and the Sea Gull Invitational on April 11-12.
Salisbury University women’s golf recorded four additional top-three finishes during the 2025-26 fall and spring schedule. The Sea Gulls open the 2026-27 fall schedule at the Shenandoah Chinatown Invitational under third-year head coach Dalton Deardorff.
Krista Brosius headlines Salisbury University women’s golf returners
Krista Brosius led Salisbury’s individual performers during her freshman season. The Magnolia, Delaware, native won the individual Sea Gull Invitational, recorded five top-five finishes, and placed in the top 10 in nine of 11 events.
Brosius earned All-CWGC Second Team honors and was a two-time CWGC Golfer of the Week. She played 18 rounds and averaged 82.9 strokes per round during the 2025-26 season.
Sydney Lynott also returns as a sophomore after receiving All-CWGC Honorable Mention. Lynott played all 18 rounds and averaged 88.2 strokes per round, while Brosius and Lynott each averaged fewer than 90 strokes per round.
Six golfers return for 2026-27
Along with Brosius and Lynott, Salisbury University women’s golf returns Caroline Fitzgerald, Cailin McCoy, Kaeli Newcomb, and Addison Sage. Fitzgerald played four rounds and averaged 107.3 strokes per round, while McCoy played six rounds at 107.8 strokes per round.
Newcomb, a senior from Berlin, Maryland, played six rounds and averaged 106.2 strokes per round. Sage played nine rounds and averaged 95.2 strokes per round during her sophomore season.
Emma Wivell is a graduating senior after forming part of Salisbury’s top three during the 2025-26 season. Wivell shot in the low 90s during the campaign.
Two freshmen join Salisbury University women’s golf
Stella Jaffe and Ava Kelly join Salisbury University women’s golf as freshmen for the 2026-27 season. Jaffe is from Whitefish, Montana, while Kelly is from Yorktown Heights, New York.
The newcomers join a program that finished third at the inaugural CWGC Tournament, won two team tournaments, and posted four other top-three finishes during the 2025-26 season. Salisbury’s fall opener at the Shenandoah Chinatown Invitational will begin the team’s next campaign.
