Frostburg State University Men’s Soccer secured a 2-1 home opener victory over No. 8 Bloomsburg on Sept. 2 in Frostburg, Md. Nate Kennedy scored both goals for Frostburg State, including a second-half volley that regained the Bobcats’ lead.
Nate Kennedy Scores Twice to Lead Bobcats
Frostburg State opened the scoring in the first half when Inzaghi Harmon assisted Kennedy. Bloomsburg leveled the score on a free kick by Conner Fedorko, who assisted Andrew Beagle. Later, Dominic Good assisted Kennedy on the winning goal.
Kennedy’s two-goal performance represented a single-game career best and raised his season total to three goals. Harmon and Good each recorded one assist as Frostburg State claimed the win.

Frostburg State held a slight shot advantage with 9-8 in total shots and dominated in shots on goal 5-2. The Bobcats protected their one-goal lead after Kennedy’s volley to ensure victory.
