Maryland Black Bears Men’s Ice Hockey Forward Kristofers Krumins Commits to Neumann University

Maryland Black Bears men’s ice hockey forward Kristofers Krumins has committed to play NCAA hockey for Neumann University in the Mid-Atlantic Conference (MAC). Krumins will join Neumann University in Aston, Pennsylvania, in the fall.

The 6-foot-2 forward from Jelgava, Latvia, is a third-year veteran of the North American Hockey League with more than 100 games played in the East Division. The Maryland Black Bears acquired Krumins from the New Jersey Titans in early February.

Kristofers Krumins Produced for the Maryland Black Bears

Krumins appeared in 12 regular-season games for the Maryland Black Bears and recorded eight points, including four goals and four assists. He scored one game-winning goal and one power-play goal during the regular season.

He added four goals and four assists in 10 postseason games. Three of his four postseason goals came on the power play, helping the Maryland Black Bears win the Robertson Cup in overtime in late May.

Kristofers Krumins’ New Jersey Titans Career

Before joining the Maryland Black Bears, Krumins played three seasons with the New Jersey Titans. He recorded 14 points, including seven goals and seven assists, in 37 games during the 2025-26 season and scored three shootout goals.

Krumins played six games for the New Jersey Titans in the 2024-25 season and scored one goal. During his rookie season, he recorded 14 points in 51 games, including 11 goals and three assists, and scored two game-winning goals.

He finished his North American Hockey League career with 45 points in 116 games. His commitment makes him one of 13 Maryland Black Bears players to make a college ice hockey commitment.
