D.C. United Men’s Soccer carries a five-match unbeaten streak into Saturday’s Eastern Conference matchup against CF Montréal at Stade Saputo in Montréal, Quebec. The match begins at 7:30 p.m. ET on Aug. 15 and marks D.C. United’s 19th game of the 2026 Major League Soccer season.

Head coach René Weiler’s team will try to extend its unbeaten run in Montréal. A victory would give D.C. United three points on the road after the club collected points in 10 of its last 11 matches.
CF Montréal Enters 14th in Eastern Conference
CF Montréal enters Saturday’s match with a 4-10-4 record and 16 points, placing the club 14th in the Eastern Conference. Montréal also drew its most recent match, a 2-2 result against the New England Revolution at Stade Saputo on Aug. 1.
CF Montréal trailed 2-0 at halftime before defender Brayan Vera scored from outside the box in the 52nd minute. Forward Prince Owusu then headed in a Luca Petrasso delivery in the 59th minute to complete the comeback.
Owusu leads CF Montréal with 10 goals and five assists in 2026. He is four-for-four from the penalty spot, while midfielder Wikelman Carmona has four goals and four assists. Goalkeeper Thomas Gillier has made 15 starts and recorded four shutouts.
Series Even After May Shootout
Saturday will be the second and final regular-season meeting between D.C. United and CF Montréal in 2026. The all-time regular-season series is tied at 10-10-12 across 32 meetings, with D.C. United holding a 43-38 edge in goals.
D.C. United is 4-7-5 in regular-season road matches against CF Montréal, with 16 goals scored and 21 conceded. The clubs’ most recent meeting ended in a 4-4 draw at Audi Field on May 23.
Louis Munteanu opened that match with a ninth-minute goal, and Jared Stroud doubled D.C. United’s lead in the 28th minute. Tai Baribo restored the two-goal advantage in the 51st minute, and captain Lucas Bartlett headed D.C. United back in front in the 87th minute before CF Montréal scored twice in stoppage time to level the match.
D.C. United last visited Stade Saputo on Aug. 16, 2025, when the teams drew 1-1. Midfielder Jackson Hopkins scored his first career MLS goal in that match.

Dave Johnson will call the match alongside Bruce Murray. Johnson has called D.C. United matches since the club’s inception in 1996, while Murray played for the United States National Team from 1985-1993 and recorded 85 caps and 21 goals. Murray was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2011.
After the Montréal match, D.C. United will host the New England Revolution at Audi Field on Aug. 19.
