The Hood College Blazers baseball team earned the 2025-26 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award. The award honors programs that maintain a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the academic year.
ABCA Academic Awards Recognize Nationwide Baseball Programs
More than 800 ABCA member programs, including nearly 500 college and over 320 high school teams, received the Team Academic Excellence Award in 2025-26. Eligible programs must be led by a head coach who is a current ABCA member and achieve a minimum cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or greater.
