Austin Voth struggled pitching a very strong four innings for Washington. Voth allowed five hits and six strikeouts while pitching. Johnny Venters allowed three hits and one strikeout in relief for Washington.
In the bottom of the first inning, shortstop Trea Turner homered to left center (453 feet).
At the bottom of the seventh inning, first baseman Ryan Zimmerman doubled to deep left, Adam Eaton scored, Soto to third. Also, it was Zimmerman’s 1,000 career RBI!
