Ashley Massaro’s Cause of Death Revealed

The wrestling world is still morning the loss of the late Ashely Massaro. I still can’t believe she is gone. If you read my last post about her, I shared how much she meant to me. I even shared some of our interactions on Twitter. She was always so nice. Today we got some news on her cause of death.

According to TMZ Sports, multiple sources have reported to them that Ashely was found hanging in what believes to be an apparent suicide. This is so sad. Especially after seeing her last tweet where she just replied to a bunch of fan mail. Whoever got something from her should cherish that forever. It was her last act of duty for her fans. It almost felt like she knew something and wanted to have this one last moment. It’s kind of eery but it has crossed my mind when it comes to this whole situation.

Massaro will be laid to rest in Suffolk County. No other details for her service are known at this time. CM Punk called into WMGM radio based out of Atlantic City to give his thoughts on the situation. He is quoted as saying “Tremendously sad way to go.” “Thoughts obviously go out to her family, especially her daughter” “It’s May. It’s Mental Health Month. If you’re depressed and things aren’t going your way, there’s no reason to feel alone.” Well said by Punk. I hope this is a lesson to all that’s going through something. You don’t have to go at it by yourself. Help is out there.
