Many Raven fans wanted Le’Veon Bell to choose the Ravens over the New York Jets but ultimately that didn’t happen. Instead the Baltimore Ravens signed former Saints Running Back Mark Ingram to a three-year deal worth 15 million, per NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. The Ravens get Ingram at $5 million per season, which is far more less than what Le’Veon Bell got with the Jets at $13.1 million. Ingram won’t keep defensive coordinators up at night as opposed to Bell but he is very productive as a runner, very efficient, a threat in the red zone and a leader very beloved from teammates around, now that’s a steal right there. The Ravens backfield has another down-the-field Runner to add to the running game for 2019.
