WWE Royal Rumble card and predictions
- Brock Lesnar vs. Finn Balor (Universal Championship)- Matt– This one is built up as being David vs Goliath. Can David pull off another upset over the Beast incarnate? Winner- Brock Lesnar
Richard– Brock “Death” Lesnar Vs Finn Balor: Say a prayer for Balor, Miracles happen at Mania title matches, not Rumble title matches. Brock retains unfortunately. - Daniel Bryan vs. AJ Styles (WWE Championship)- Matt– You have the “New Daniel Bryan” against the Phenomenal AJ Styles. This could be a terrific matchup, but the way things have been going with Bryan lately, could we see a low blow or some type of early end to the match because of a DQ? Lets hope this match steals the show. Winner- AJ Styles
Richard– I love this feud, I love “the New” Daniel Bryan, the hipster, Vegan, truth spitting “Heel” Daniel wins and we get a vegan belt. Likely MOTN - Ronda Rousey vs. Sasha Banks (Raw Women’s Championship)- Matt– The baddest woman on the planet vs the boss. Once friends, tag team partners and now bitter enemies both looking to rip each others arms off and make the other tap out. Winner Ronda
Richard– Sasha has looked strong and Ronda looks meh, Ronda wins but Banks will give her a run for her money. Sneaky MOTN candidate. - Asuka vs. Becky Lynch (SmackDown Women’s Championship)- Matt– If Becky Lynch is to be “The Man” then she will need to show in this matchup that she is more then ready for Asuka. Winner- Becky
Richard– Asuka Vs “The Man” Becky Lynch: When is a loss, a win, when The Man is involved. Expect some sort of interference, Asuka wins barely, watch for Charlotte or Ronda. - The Bar vs. The Miz and Shane McMahon (SmackDown Tag Team Championships) Matt– You have the battle between the former Raw tag team champions and current SmackDown tag team champions who had the last laugh on the final SmackDown before the Rumble, and the new team built on being the “best in the world with father issues” Winner- The BAR
Richard– Miz and Shane win here and continue a somewhat entertaining feud. Seeing them win the titles will be fun, seeing the team implode to a WM match will be exciting. - Rusev vs. Shinsuke Nakamura (U.S. Championship)-
Matt– A match between last year’s Royal Rumble winner and a guy who spent is fighting for the honor of his fallen wife. Winner Rusev
Richard– Its a shame, this match in on the pre-show,it completely killed the hype for this match, Rusev wins by DQ /Dirty finish. - Buddy Murphy vs. Akira Tozawa vs. Kalisto vs. Hideo Itami (Cruiserweight Championship) –
Matt– WWE putting Cruiserweight Championship matches on at the very beginning of pre-shows when the minimum amount of its Network audience will be watching makes it hard to get excited about these things, no matter how good they’ll probably be. Winner Kalisto
Richard– Fast Fact: Only one of these guys is in the WWE Champions mobile game. “Hey” Buddy Murphy wins - Men’s Royal Rumble Matt– Final four Cena(If Cena is out with an injury then Randy Orton)/McIntyre/Rollins/Stroman Winner Stroman
Richard– Final 4: Rollins, McIntrye, Orton, Joe. WINNER: Seth Rollins - Women’s Royal Rumble Matt – Final four Cross/Flair/Moon/Carmella winner- Ember Moon
Richard– Female Four: Nia, Charottle, Bayley, Nikki Cross. WINNER: Charlotte Flair Royal Rumble
