After a 12-inning loss last night, the Nationals send Joe Ross (0-0, 3.60 ERA) to the mound to try to even the series. In his last start, Ross threw seven innings giving up only two runs.
Jacob deGrom (8-9, 1.78 ERA) gets the ball for the Mets. The right-hander has recorded 22 consecutive quality starts and has not allowed more than three runs in his last 27 starts.
