Navy Football drills

The 2018 Navy Midshipmen Football team will report to camp on Thursday, August 2. First practice will be the following day at the Naval Academy.

The college football season officially begins on September 1 when the Midshipmen travel to Hawaii to play the Rainbow Warriors. The complete 2018 schedule for Navy shapes up like this:

Saturday, Sept. 1          NAVY @ Hawaii
Saturday, Sept. 8         Memphis @ NAVY
Saturday, Sept. 15        Lehigh @ NAVY
Saturday, Sept. 22       NAVY @ SMU
Saturday, Oct. 6            NAVY @ Air Force
Saturday, Oct. 13          Temple @ NAVY
Saturday, Oct. 20         Houston @ NAVY
Saturday, Oct. 27          Notre Dame vs. NAVY (in San Diego)
Saturday, Nov. 3           NAVY @ Cincinnati
Saturday, Nov. 10         NAVY @ UCF
Saturday, Nov. 17         Tulsa @ NAVY
Saturday, Nov. 24        NAVY @ Tulane
Saturday, Dec. 8           NAVY vs. Army (in Philadelphia)

Navy has been picked to finish third in the AAC West in the conference’s preseason media poll, with only Memphis and Houston ahead of the Midshipmen.

Safe to say, with six returning starters on defense and QB Malcolm Perry set to lead the offense, head coach Ken Niumatalolo will not be satisfied with just taking home third.
