Chesapeake Bayhawks Return to Annapolis in a “Homecoming” Fashion
After playing four games on the road, the Chesapeake Bayhawks return to Annapolis.
The season started with a home game loss to the Dallas Rattlers, then a road game win at Florida Launch. The Florida game was the first of four road games; next was an exciting yet 13-14 loss at Charlotte Hounds, followed by an exciting win 24-22 at Denver Outlaws, and lastly, a 14-11 win at Boston Cannons.
Yesterday, Thursday May 31st, ACME Bar And Grill in Downtown Annapolis, hosted a homecoming event for fans to meet some of the players and Hawkettes (cheerleaders).
Tomorrow’s game, Saturday June 2, 7pm, at the Navy-Marine Corps Stadium in Annapolis, will certainly be a great game because the Ohio Machine are sitting in fifth place (2-2), whereas the Bayhawks are sitting fourth (3-2). Coming into this game, the Machine fell to the Hounds 14-12 in Charlotte.
Believe it or not, but the season is nearly half over. This will be game number six for the Bayhawks, then have just eight more regular season games; five of which are home games.
