During the 2017-18 regular season, the Navy Midshipmen were 0-2 against Bucknell Bison, after losing to them in the 2017 Patriot League championship game. Tonight, Navy came out on top, winning 68-62.
Navy’s top three-point shooter Taylor Dunham led the way for the Mids, scoring nearly one-quarter of all points; 18. Defensively, Navy held Bucknell’s 1000 point club member Kaitlyn Slagus to just 15 points, and Navy did not allow Bucknell to take the lead during the entire game.
Across the board, Bucknell had more scoring opportunities, yet did not capitalize.
