Preview-Both teams are in the top ten averaging 110 per points a game, Wizards (114.7) and Lakers (112). Los Angeles does have the advantage when it comes to the deep ball, as they average thirty-six percent from the three point arc. However, two glaring areas that stick out are the Wizards, as a team, are shooting eighty-four from the free throw line, while the Lakers are shooting a miserable sixty-nine percent, and in turnovers the Wizards are in the top five averaging thirteen a game, and are currently second in causing turnovers (19.7). Los Angeles, on the other hand, are near the bottom causing eighteen turnovers a game, although they are in the top ten causing seventeen turnovers a game.

Players to watch
WashingtonJohn Wall. The starting five. All five starters are currently averaging over thirty minutes a game, and are led by John Wall averaging over twenty-four rebounds and ten assists a game. Wall still draws a lot of contact, and is going to the free throw nearly eleven times a game, and is shooting eighty-six percent. Bradley Beal, is right behind Wall, as he is currently averaging twenty-three points and five rebounds a game. Also, Beal is heading to the charity stripe nearly nine times a game, and is shooting eighty-one percent. Otto Porter Jr., has been delivering lately, and is averaging eighteen points a game, which mostly comes from shooting fifty-one percent from the field, and also is second on the team averaging nine rebounds a contest. Marcin Gortat is shooting a team best sixty-eight percent from the field, and has upped his scoring production to thirteen points a game, while also collecting a team best ten rebounds a game. Finally, Kelly Oubre Jr., has filled in for the injured Markieff Morris, by now averaging ten points and six rebounds a game.                                                                                                                                                                                                             Los Angeles- Lonzo Ball is averaging thirteen points, nine rebounds and nearly nine assists a game, although he does allow nearly four turnovers a game, and is shooting a team low thirty-five percent from the field. Jordan Clarkson is averaging nearly twenty points a game, and is shooting over fifty percent from the field. Finally, Kentavious Caldwell Pope just returned to the starting lineup, and shot sixty-four percent in his first game, which included seventy-one percent from the field.
