#2 Maryland Blows Late Lead to #1 Albany; Loses 11-10

Maryland fell at home to Albany on Saturday 11-10. Maryland led most of the game, and by as much as 5, when the score was 8-3 midway through the second half. The Terps were unfortunately outscored 5-0 in the 4th quarter, however, giving up 3 goals in the final 5 minutes to lose the game.

Maryland Stud Conner Kelly had his usual stellar performance, recording 2 goals and 3 assists on 5 shots on goal. Multiple other Terps played well, as Fairman, Bernhardt, and Wisnauskas each scored a brace. Rotanz and Dimilo each tallied one goal to round out the scoring for Maryland. Senior goalie Dan Morris had an uncharacteristically poor performance, saving just 10 of 21 shots on goal.

Maryland returns to action on Saturday March 17th in Philadelphia against fifth-ranked Villanova.
