Nationals lose to Dodgers 4-2: Recap 7/26/19

The Washington Nationals lost to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday evening at Nationals Park. The Nationals record currently stands at 55-48. The Dodgers move to 68-37.

Anibal Sanchez pitched a very strong innings for Washington. Sanchez allowed three hits and six strikeouts while pitching. Javy Guerra allowed zero hits and one strikeout in relief for Washington.

In the bottom of the seventh inning, Adam Eaton singled to center, Parra scored, Trea Turner to second, Parra was thrown out at home.

At the bottom of the ninth inning, left fielder Juan Soto walked, Turner scored, Rendon to third, Eaton to third.

With a loss to the Dodgers, the Nationals play game two of the series tomorrow at 4:05pm. Pitching for the Nationals is TBD.
