Capitals vs Bruins, game 3 of an intense playoff series
The Washington Capitals are playing the Boston Bruins in game 4 of the Stanley Cup playoffs. This is a very important game for the Capitals as they lost game 3 in double overtime.
The defense needs to continue to step it up. Clearing the puck out of the zone, keeping a good forcheck, and finishing checks is key. The reason its key is because this allows them to have possesion in the defensive zone and also keep the puck away from the goalie at all times.
The other main point is to utilize some other form of offense besides dump and chase. While dumping the puck can be good at times, doing it almost every possesion makes your offensive strategy obvious. Its good to switch it up to keep the defense on their toes and guessing every time of what the team will do.
