Orioles vs. Rays lineups: 4/16/2019

Tonight the Baltimore Orioles open up a three game series at Tropicana Field against the American League East Leading Tampa Bay Rays. The Rays come into the contest with a Major League best 12-4 record. The Orioles find themselves in second place in the AL East with a 7-10 record. The Rays have allowed a league low 40 runs in their sixteen games while the Orioles have allow the second most runs in baseball at 106. The Rays have scored one run less than the Orioles’ 79. The Orioles come into the game sporting a 6-4 record on the road.

Tampa will send six foot eight inch 25 year old Tyler Glasnow to the mound against the Orioles. Right-hander Glasnow has been lights out on the year going 3-0 with a 0.53 ERA in three starts this year striking out 21 in his 17 innings. Facing the Tampa batters for the Orioles will be righty Dylan Bundy. Bundy is 0-1 on the year with an 8.76 ERA and 17 strikeouts in 12 innings. In his last start, coming against Oakland, Bundy got through the lineup once without issue before things began to fall apart in the fourth.
