Urban tears ACL, out for the season

Baltimore Ravens defensive lineman Brent Urban tore his ACL yesterday in practice and will be done for the season. Urban was drafted in the fourth round of the NFL draft and was really impressing coaches during mini camps and training camps and looked to have a spot in the Ravens defensive line rotation.
This is a tough loss for Urban and the Ravens. Urban is still a raw player and could have used his rookie season to develop, now he will have extra time to study the game. ACL injuries are harder to recover from for bigger athletes but Urban is young enough that he should be ok. The good thing for the Ravens is that they are very deep on the defensive line.
The Ravens will likely place Urban on injured reserve when they sign someone else to take his roster spot.
