Ravens top-five favorite to win Super Bowl

The Baltimore Ravens are a top-five favorite to win the 2022 Super Bowl, according to Sports Betting Dime. As it stands, their odds are currently listed at +1400 (the same as the Rams and 49ers), trailing behind the Chiefs (+500), Buccaneers (+600), Bills (+1000) and Packers (+1300). The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won the Super Bowl last season, and the Kansas City Chiefs won the year before that.

The Ravens are in good company to start the season. So far the Ravens have remained relatively healthy throughout the preseason. Some minor injuries to some rookies and veteran Jimmy Smith but none are season long injuries. The Ravens have lost L.J. Fort for the season from an injury that occurred in a preseason game.

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has yet to suit up this preseason but will likely get some reps in the third preseason game against the Washington Football Team. Jackson and Gus Edwards missed time early in training camp after testing positive for Covid-19. Jackson was unlikely to play in the first two preseason games, Tyler Huntley has seen the majority of action at quarterback for the Ravens.

Huntley has the Ravens backup quarterback role all but locked down after an injury to Trace McSorley in the first preseason game.

The Ravens will have a challenging road this season the the AFC North being a strong division once again this season but the Ravens should still be the best team.

The Ravens have the best running attacks in the NFL, and the best cornerback tandem in the NFL. With an improved passing game the Ravens should have an offense that is once again a nightmare to stop.
