Ravens sign Greenwood

The Baltimore Ravens have signed cornerback Chris Greenwood off the Minnesota Vikings practice squad.  The Ravens lost two defensive backs last Sunday when Asa Jackson and Terrence Brooks were lost for the season.  Both Jackson and Brooks had knee injuries.  

Greenwood is a former fifth-round pick and has played for the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys.  Greenwood has size for a corner at 6’1” 193 pounds.

The Ravens are desperate to find good secondary players and Greenwood may have to step in right away.  Hopefully Greenwood is up for the challenge because the Ravens are in the playoff hunt.
