Ravens promote Toussaint
The Baltimore Ravens have promoted undrafted rookie running back, Fitzgerald Toussaint to the 53-man roster, according to Aaron Wilson. Toussaint was very impressive in the preseason and was a hard cut for the Ravens to make. Toussaint was signed to the Ravens practice squad as soon as he cleared waivers, showing how highly the Ravens thought of him.
The Ravens cut Derek Cox earlier today and had room on the 53-man roster; although they are still short at running back with Ray Rice’s suspension, so adding Toussaint should help with that. Toussaint will give the Ravens a good young running back.
