Ravens cut Christian Thompson

The Baltimore Ravens have cut safety Christian Thompson according to Aaron Wilson. Thompson was suspended the first four games of the season for violating the leagues substance abuse policy. The Ravens would have needed to cut someone and put Thompson on the roster because his suspension is now over.

The Ravens spent a fourth-round draft pick on Thompson last season so they have to be disappointed, Thompson never recorded a tackle for the Ravens. Maybe Thompson will be eligible for the practice squad so the Ravens can keep him around.
