Norfolk Tides Lose 4-1 to Durham Bulls After Dean Kremer’s 6.2 Scoreless Innings

The Norfolk Tides fell to the Durham Bulls, 4-1, on June 26, 2026, at Harbor Park in Norfolk, Va. Dean Kremer threw 6.2 scoreless innings in his second MLB rehabilitation start, but Durham scored three runs in the eighth inning and one in the ninth.

Dean Kremer Delivers Scoreless Rehabilitation Start

Kremer allowed two hits and one walk while striking out eight batters over 6.2 scoreless innings. He made the start while recovering from a right quad strain and recorded a quality start for the Norfolk Tides.

The Norfolk Tides entered the game with a 0-4 record and a 28-51 overall mark. The Durham Bulls entered at 4-0 and 32-47.

Enrique Bradfield Jr. Steals Four Bases

Enrique Bradfield Jr. led the Norfolk Tides offensively, going 3-for-4 with four stolen bases and one run scored. He became the first Tide since Matt Angle on July 26, 2011, to steal four bases in a game.

Bradfield also became the third player to accomplish the feat in Tides Orioles affiliate history and the fourth player to do so overall in franchise history. His four stolen bases marked one of the game’s notable individual performances for Norfolk.
