Capitals conclude two game road trip in Bean town and hoping to get another two points in the very close standings
The Washington Capitals are facing the Boston Bruins in the second of a two game away trip. The team is looking to build off their win in Buffalo. The team has made a lot of improvements over the past few games, but nothing is in great shape as of now.
The power play is still very abysmal and needs a lot of tweaking. It has become very predictable in games. The team needs to do some tweaking to the power play and maybe shake up the sets for players on ice.
The defense has been stepping up but still leaves a lot to be desired. The team is still struggling to get pucks out of the defensive zone, utilize the boards and finish checks. This is allowing the team to get outshot, and allows for a good amount of goals to go in.
