Schmit, White, Brewster Sign Professional Contracts

Three more Maryland baseball players signed professional contracts this week, as Blake Schmit, Charlie White, and Ben Brewster inked their rookie contracts. Maryland pitcher Jake Stinnett agreed to a rookie contract with the Chicago Cubs today. The Cubs selected Stinnett with the 45th pick in the second round of the MLB Player Draft earlier this month. Stinnett reportedly signed for $1 million.
