Ravens Texans halftime update

The Baltimore Ravens are beating the Houston Texans 17-9 but it has not been a pretty game.  The first quarter the Ravens offense moved backwards with a ton of offensive line penalties.

The Ravens defense had a tough first drive but they really turned it up.  Terrell Suggs and Haloti Ngata had sacks that really gained got the Ravens going.  Keeping the Texans to field goals was key.

The game changer came when the Daryl Smith intercepted a Matt Schaub pass for six points.  Smith has been a great pick up for the Ravens.

Tandon Doss came through right after that and returned a punt 82 yards for a touchdown.  Doss made a few moves and tight roped the sideline.

The offense really struggled like it did against the Cleveland Browns.  They are inches off and I expect them to pick it up for the second half.

Injuries, Terrance Cody had a knee sprain and is out.
