Ravens OTA Depth Chart Analysis: Offensive Linemen

With the Baltimore Ravens Organized Team Activities fully underway, I will be going through the Ravens position by position breaking down the depth and the competition. I will be categorizing players into one of three spots; locks to make the team, bubble players, and longshots.

Offensive Linemen

Locks: Ronnie Stanley(3rd), James Hurst(5th), Alex Lewis(3rd), Marshal Yanda(12th), Orlando Brown Jr.(R), Matt Skura(2nd), Nico Siragusa(2nd)
The Ravens have two mantras for the offensive line; next man up and the best five on the field. Through this mantra we have seen some great lineman come out from low draft picks and UFA’s.
Stanley and Yanda will return to their positions and I expect they give Hurst the LG position after rewarding him with a new contract this offseason. I expect Lewis to win the center battle and for Brown to dominate at RT. Skura and Siragusa will be the primary backups.

Bubble: Jermaine Eluemunor(2nd), Bradley Bozeman(R), Andrew Donnal(4th)
The Ravens keep eight linemen on the roster during the regular season so one of these guys should make the team.
While Jermaine did start some games last season he did not play well in those games and lost his spot to Skura. Bozeman has a chance to be the starting center and has some good potential. Donnal is a former fourth rounder who has six starts in his career but none last season.

Long shots: Greg Senat(R), Maurquice Shakir(2nd), Randin Crecelius(R), Alex Thompson(R), Justin Evans(R)
The only player who has a shot to make the team is this year’s 6th rounder Senat. A former basketball player who has incredible size and speed but extremely raw in terms of technique and experience. He is deemed a project but sneaking him on the Practice Squad could prove difficult, so he may suffer an “injury” to get him on the IR.
