Game Recap: Shawn Anderson racks up 21, yet Navy falls to Colgate 70-62
The Navy Midshipmen(11-6,2-1) were defeated by the Colgate Raiders(8-7,3-1) by a score of 70-62. The leading scorers for this game were Shawn Anderson with 21 points, 6 rebounds, he was 9-19 from the field. Sean O’Brien had 18 points, 6 assists and 4 rebounds as he went 4-9 from the field.
As I was watching this game, the Midshipmen looked in sync spreading the ball, but it did not translate to their defensive play as they gave up 41 second half points to their 34 second half points.
It seemed like the Raiders were in sync throughout the game because they tallied 16 total assists. The Midshipmen tallied 13 total assists, but it was simply not enough to overcome the Colgate Raiders.
