Capitals select Vrana with the 13th overall pick: news and thoughts

Capitals sign Christian Djoos

The Washington Capitals have signed defensman Christian Djoos to a three-year, entry-level contract.  Djoos was a 2012 seventh-round draft pick and has been playing in Europe. The Washington Capitals have announced that they have signed forward Garrett Mitchell to a one-year, two-way contract.  This mean Mitchell can play for the Capitals and the Hershey Bears.
