Washington Capitals Re-Sign Tom Wilson to a Six-Year Contract worth $5.17 Million a Year Deal.

Washington Capital fan favorite Tom Wilson has re-signed with the Capitals to a six year contract worth $5.17 million a year contract. Wilson is coming off a career best 35 point season, and also produced 15 points in 21 games during the playoffs this season.

Wilson also lead the NHL with most fights this past season and is looking to produce more points this coming season playing on the top line with Alex Ovechkin and Evgeny Kuznetsov. Wilson playing on the top line hopes to get reach a 20 goal season this coming year.

Now that Wilson is signed the Capitals will have almost the same Stanley Cup winning team back this year minus Philip Grubauer and Jay Beagle. The Capitals are one of the favorites to win the Stanley Cup again, and Capitals fans are excited for six more years of atom Wilson hockey.
