RIP Tom Clancy

800px-Tom_Clancy_at_Burns_Library,_Boston_CollegeBaltimore lost one of it’s most famous members today as Tom Clancy passed away at the age of 66. Clancy was born, raised and passed away in Baltimore.

Clancy became famous for his books such as “The Hunt for Red October” and many others. Many of Clancy’s books have been turned into movies. Clancy’s name has also been used on many video games.

Clancy became one of the owners of the Orioles in 1993 when the Orioles were switching ownership. Clancy was also a life long conservative and was a member of the National Rifle Association.
