Ravens Steelers halftime update

The Baltimore Ravens are losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers 10-6 at halftime.  The Ravens and Steelers played a very quick half.

The Steelers offense has been able to run the ball against the Ravens so far today already having 82 total yards.  This is surprising as the Steelers have struggled to run the ball all season.  The Steelers have also used some trick plays and the wildcat offense.

Brandon Williams got a sack today which was the first sack of his young career.  Matt Elam also had a fumble recovery that was forced by Daryl Smith.  In his return Jameel McClain has two tackles so far.

Joe Flacco has played very well and spread the ball around to just about everyone.  In just the half eight different receivers have caught passes from Flacco.  Tandon Doss and Marlon Brown continue to play well, Doss has the Ravens longest reception with a 22 yard catch.  Flacco has completed 11 out of 16 of his passes for 90 yards.

Ray Rice has also run the ball well at times and has showed some life on his cuts which he has lacked a lot of this season.

The Ravens look like they are in good shape injury wise.  The Ravens will start the ball in the second half and are in good shape for this game if they can stop the Steelers running attack.
