Ravens Need To Cut Ray Rice
I am sure all of you have by now seen the elevator video of Ray Rice’s domestic assault of Janay Rice (it’s a Google away if you haven’t; I will not link to it here). The Baltimore Ravens are left with one choice, an action that should have been made a long time ago, and that is to release Ray Rice.
Ravens have to waive Rice today or they are cowards. New video is appalling. I’d like to see someone in the NFL do the right thing for once.

The Ravens, as Bill Simmons tweeted, have only the choice to release him, and to do it today, to remain a respectable National Football League franchise that the city of Baltimore deserves.
Roger Goodell has already shown that he is not capable of handling the ordeal, even admitting that he made a mistake with Rice’s two game suspension when this initially came out – a policy that, even now, does not come near to what he deserves.
With that being said, the impetus moves to the Ravens to ensure that he never enters M&T Bank Stadium as a member of the Baltimore Ravens ever again; to make a stand for every single Ravens fan out there who has been a victim of domestic abuse, not to mention, every Ravens fan out there who has even an ounce of dignity and care for humanity.
Domestic violence should never be tolerated and by keeping Rice, the Ravens are approving of what he did; and I, for one, would be ashamed to be associated with an organization that approves of domestic violence.
UPDATE:
The #Ravens have terminated RB Ray Rice’s contract this afternoon.

Good job Ravens, you did the right thing.
