Orioles top prospect Adley to make Ironbirds debut Saturday
The Baltimore Orioles 2019 first overall draft pick catcher Adley Rutschman will make his Aberdeen Ironbirds debut on Saturday. Adley has been in Florida training.
Rutschman’s will be the largest prospect the Orioles have put in Aberdeen in a long time. Rutschman is expect to breeze through the minors but I expect him to stay at Aberdeen for now.
Aberdeen is the Orioles short season low A ball. The short season is designed for lower level prospects and recent draft picks to get their feet wet in their first professional season.
