Orioles Spring Training Opening Game

The Baltimore Orioles begin their 2026 season today down in Sarasota, Florida for a 1:05 Spring Training game against the New York Yankees. Trevor Rogers is the confirmed starter. The lineup is as follows:

-Pete Alonso 1B
-Samuel Basallo C
-Tyler O’Neill RF
-Colton Cowser CF
-Adley Rutschman DH
-Heston Kjerstad LF
-Coby Mayo 3B
-Jeremiah Jackson 2B

Coby Mayo was originally a third baseman coming up for the Orioles but has yet to play the position in a regular season game. Pete Alonso is making his debut at first base wearing the orange and black.
