Orioles enter road series with Royals well rested

The Baltimore Orioles start a four-game road series with the Kansas City Royals tonight. This should be a winnable series for the Orioles, the Royals are 18-37. The Orioles found some rare rest the past couple days which has been rare during this condensed season. The Orioles were off Monday for a scheduled off day and had last nights game postponed.

The Orioles should have everyone on the bench and bullpen ready to go at full strength for the next few days. Jordan Lyles will get the start on extra rest, he was scheduled to start yesterdays game so it appears that all the starters will be moved back an extra day.

Lyles has struggled recently but has also faced the Yankees and Red Sox in recent games which is no easy task. Hopefully the extra day of rest can get Lyles back on track. Hopefully the Orioles can have a good series and make up some ground on the Wild Card.

Here is the Orioles lineup for tonight.

In Minor League news, Gunnar Henderson hit a home run in the second pitch he saw in his first AAA game.
