Steve Bisciotti the Ravens owner announced today that general manager Ozzie Newsome will step down after next season. Eric DeCosta will take over the 53-man roster.
Newsome has been the Ravens general manager since 2002. Newsome has been a Ravens executive since the Ravens came to Baltimore in 1996.
DeCosta has been the “GM in waiting” for several years.
Steve Bisciotti said Ozzie Newsome will step down as GM after the 2018 season and Eric DeCosta will take over control of the 53-man roster.
