Connor Norby named Norfolk Tides Player of the Week for July 23rd-30th.

The Baltimore Orioles 6th overall prospect Connor Norby was named the Norfolk Tides player of the week. Connor Norby batted .407 with 7 runs scored and 2 three hit games. In the Tides series against the Nashville Sounds he went 11-27 at the plate with at least one hit in every game. Connor Norby also has an on base streak of twenty games dating back to July 2nd. Norby so far in his first full season with the Norfolk Tides has batted .291 and has an OPS of .825. He has also hit 14 homeruns with 65 RBIs. Although Norby has had a great season with the Tides he has been in the trade talks as of recently, with the trade deadline coming to a close on August 1st at 6pm.
