Capitals visit Trump in the Oval Office

The Washington Capitals visited President Donald Trump in the Oval Office today. The Capitals went on a 45 minute tour of the White House before the meeting. Each player then had a chance for one on one photos with the President.

The Capitals won the Stanley Cup last June and went to celebrate their victory. This was a private event but NBC Sports Washington did get some clips. For more on that story go Here

Here is a clip of Capitals Captain Alex Ovechkin to the President.

Caps defenseman John Carlson and center Evgeny Kuznetsov got compliments from the President.

More to come.

Capitals goalie Braden Holtby and forward Brett Connolly did not attend.

The Caps tweeted some pics as well.
