The often injured Nolan Reimold is finally back playing professional baseball. Reimold had a bad neck injury and it has taken him a long time to recover. The Baltimore Orioles and Reimold have been loyal to each other in hopes that he can one day return and stay healthy.
Right now Reimold is four games into his rehab at double-A Bowie and is getting off to a slow start. Reimold has three hits and is hitting .214. Reimold who is known for his power has no extra base hits.
Those numbers do not show us much as Reimold is just getting back into the feel of things. One thing is for sure though and that is that Reimold needs a lot of rehab at bats before being called up by the Orioles.
The Orioles took the max number for Brian Roberts before and they should do the same thing with Reimold.
I have always liked Reimold’s potential, he is a five tool talent.
