Why The Wizards Should Trade For Deandre Jordan

The Wizards have struggled at the Center position all season, and the solution is to trade for Deandre Jordan. Jordan is one of the best Centers in the NBA right now and he would make the Wizards a contender in the Eastern Conference. Jordan averages 10.4 points per game and 13.9 rebounds a game and that would be an improvement over Marcin Gortat 9.5 points per game and 8.6 rebounds per game. Jordan is very good defensively where, he averages 1.1 blocks a game, but the one area he struggles in is his free throw shooting. Jordan shoots 58% from the line and he needs to improve those numbers.

The Wizards must trade for Jordan if they want to be a contender in the Eastern Conference. The Wizards would be a much better team with him, he would make everyone on the team better, and that would move Gortat to the bench. Moving Gortat to the bench would make the Wizards bench better, an area where they must improve. The Wizards might be able to get a good bench player too if they make a good deal with the Clippers. Making this trade would be huge for the Wizards.
