Capitals sign Christian Djoos

The Washington Capitals have signed defensman Christian Djoos to a three-year, entry-level contract.  Djoos was a 2012 seventh-round draft pick and has been playing in Europe. Djoos is only 19 years old and has a lot of room to grow and build muscle at only 158 pounds. Here is the Capitals press release.

Capitals lock up Jason Chimera until 2014

On September 29th, the Capitals helped to solidify their defense by giving 32 year old left wing Jason Chimera a two year extension worth $3.5 million.
