Orioles mail bag, updates on Bundy, Machado and Reimold
Last night I asked the followers of @mdsportsblog to ask me any questions about the Baltimore Orioles. Here are all the good ones.
I answered all the questions last night but here are some more in depth answers.
@MDsportsblog When Manny returns, I see Lombo as the 2B, Flaherty as UTL, and Schoop in AAA? What do you see?
— Dillon Atkinson ⚾️ (@DillonAtkinson_) April 17, 2014
This is a very tough call. Jonathan Schoop should be starting every day an needs MLB experience at some time. Steve Lombardozzi has played outstanding and seems to have leadoff man potential.
@MDsportsblog what do you think about manny coming back in a few weeks?
— Miranda ⚾️ (@MyLuckyMachado) April 17, 2014
It will be a major boost to the Orioles. Manny Machado seems to be doing great and he will be playing extended spring training games soon. Here are some of my predicted lineups for when Machado comes back.
@MDsportsblog Whats the latest word on nolan reimold? #Orioles
— bobby north (@bnorth29) April 17, 2014
Nolan Reimold is on the 60-day DL and still getting treatment on his neck. No baseball activities yet for Reimold, so it does not look good.
@MDsportsblog whats the latest on Al bundy’s youngest son dylan? #Orioles — bobby north (@bnorth29) April 17, 2014
Dylan Bundy has been throwing and looks to be recovering well last night he tweeted that he threw 35 pitches, including some off speed pitches.
@MDsportsblog what do you think of Flaherty? — Ian Jett (@BmoreSportsGuy) April 17, 2014
Ryan Flaherty was brought up up the majors way too soon because he was a Rule-Five draft pick. Flaherty plays great defense and has shown that he can get really streaky.
