Nationals dominate Rockies, win 6-3: Game recap 4/24/19

The Washington Nationals held off the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday evening in regular season action. The Nats’ record currently stands at 11-11. The Rockies drop to 10-14.

Patrick Corbin pitched a very strong six innings for Washington, allowing five hits and six strikeouts.

Offensively, the long ball ruled for Washington. In the top of the third inning, center fielder, Victor Robles, doubled to deep center, scoring Patrick Corbin, Adam Eaton, and Wilmer Difo. Howie Kendrick hit a sacrifice fly to left, scoring Victor Robles.

The Nationals wrap up the series tomorrow with the Rockies before heading back to D.C.
