Jarrett Pfeifer– Baltimore Ravens
Chiefs 31- Eagles 27
While the familiar faces of Mahomes and Kelce will lead the Chiefs to victory. Expect Chiefs rookie running back Isiah Pacheco to have a strong day both on the ground and in the receiving game.
Both defenses will struggle to minimize the big plays, but ultimately the Chiefs will just make a few more in the end. A late field goal pushes the Chiefs lead to four, with Hurts and the Eagles unable to put together a game winning drive in the end.
Eric Arnold– Maryland Football/Basketball
Chiefs 24- Eagles 17
Chiefs run the ball to control the clock and use Kelce as their primary receiver in tough situations.
Hurts plays a great game but cant get on the field to make the game tying drive.
Casey Moninghoff– Mount St. Mary’s/Maryland Sports BettingEagles 27- Chiefs 17The Chiefs run game is what has helped the get back to the Super Bowl this year, and their defense has improved night and day, especially in the playoffs.
However, Mahomes will make a mistake as he is prone to do at times and it will be costly. It will be the only turnover of the game.
Eagles will hit deep shots early to DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown. Dallas Goedert will score and so will Miles Sanders. Jalen Hurts will run it in to cap off the scoring in what will be a surprisingly low scoring game.
Dominic Toto– Washington Nationals
Eagles 26- Chiefs 24
Its hard to pick against Mahomes, but it would be even harder to pick against the Eagles historically great offensive line. Unlike two years ago, Kansas City shows up, but falls a little short.
Tatiana Bird– Baltimore Orioles/USMNT
Eagles 27- Chiefs 14
Chiefs go up 14-3 before halftime. Sometime in the second quarter Mahomes takes a shot to the ankle and continues the game hobbled, but ultimately can’t do much. Eagles go on to score 24 unanswered in the second half to secure the victory.
Nathan Snell– Maryland Women’s Basketball/Washington Mystics
Eagles 40- Chiefs 37
Even though the Chiefs are more experienced and have been there before, the one thing that is going to be interesting to watch is Kansas City’s defense. Other then Frank Clark and Chris Jones who can step up on the defensive side? How can they contain the weapons the Eagles have?
The Eagles must establish the run earlier if they want to beat Kansas City. The Eagles defense is ready to show out, and Jalen Hurts and the Eagles passing game will be interesting to watch throughout the game.
Matt Bachota– Fantasy Football/Washington Capitals/Baltimore Ravens/Baltimore Orioles
Eagles 31- Chiefs 24
Patrick Mahomes is hindered by his high ankle sprain, and the quick/physical defense of the Eagles will be too much to overcome. Jalen Hurts shows up in a big way and wins Super Bowl MVP.
Blair Critchell– Washington Capitals
Eagles 27- Chiefs 24
Expect some early scoring before the defense takes control for both teams. A late costly mistake by Mahomes and the Chiefs will cost them the game, as the Eagles hit a game winning field goal.
Steve Zumbaugh– Washington Commanders
Eagles 31- Chiefs 28
Both defenses struggle throughout the game. Eagles get the ball last and win on a field goal.
Three bets I love, Travis Kelce and Jalen Hurts anytime touchdown scorers, Over total points.
